Privacy Policy

Speed.be attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

Data controller

Christophe Petiau (Speed.be), Felix Wyterslaan 9, 2980 Zoersel — CBE BE 0717.489.006 — info@speed.be — 081 31 25 00. Full contact details in our legal notice.

What data and why

When you request a call-back, an analysis or place an order, we collect only the data necessary to contact you again and handle your request:

Legal basis: the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request, and your consent. Purpose: solely the handling of your request. We do not engage in unsolicited canvassing and do not resell your data.

Recipients

Your data is processed by Speed.be's advisors. When you choose an offer, the data strictly necessary for the subscription is transmitted to the operator concerned. Our technical service providers (hosting, e-mail sending) act as processors, under contract and within the European Economic Area.

Proof of your call-back request (consent register)

When you tick the box requesting a call-back, we record proof of this request (date and time, contact details provided, exact text of the ticked box, IP address and browser). This register enables us to demonstrate, at any time and in particular to the competent authorities, that our calls respond to your explicit request. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see “Your rights”).

Telephone recordings

Certain telephone conversations relating to a subscription may be recorded for the purposes of proof of the order and quality control. These recordings may be transmitted to the telecom operator concerned so that it can verify compliance with our obligations, in particular regarding data protection.

Retention period

Your data is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and to meet our legal obligations (in particular evidentiary and accounting obligations), and is then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise them: info@speed.be. You may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (DPA, Brussels).

Cookies
